Autumn Rose (Paper Trails Series)

From my “Paper Trails” mixed media series. Each work is a collage or assemblage composed of scrap paper towels, infused with water color and gouache, from works on paper. To create new beauty through recycling/upcycling. But tbh, the meaning is so much deeper than saving them from the landfill. All of that paint is tied to works already completed and sent out into the world. The base for each of the work is also ‘scrap’ cardboard, wood or canvas that I had laying around the studio.
